Liv Evon Designs artisan jewelry is a custom-crafted and ready-to-wear handmade jewelry brand based in Northern Virginia. Curating pieces with the conscious jewelry consumer in mind, our richly colored boho-chic inspired jewelry and accessories are made to encourage everyone to feel bold, stylish, and comfortable while wearing fashionable statement items that represent them most.

Our brand sells in-person at local farmers markets and at pop-up events in the DMV area, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to help sell at these events!

​

Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Preparing for markets/pop-up events in the Northern VA area (mainly Sterling, Ashburn) and/or Washington D.C. and Maryland.

• Setting up and breaking down vendor booths, which includes: tents, tables, display items, products.

• Running sales during the duration of the event.

• Educating customers on the details, beauty and comfortability of our products.

• Developing relationships with customers, event organizers and other vendors.

Sales Associate Requirements:

• Able to work solo for 6-10 hour events

• Have a flexible schedule to work mainly weekends - weekday hours available intermittently.

• Able to drive to and from farmers markets/pop-up events - need an active/valid driver's license.

• Can complete purchases on a tablet/portable POS system.

• Able to setup and breakdown a 10x10' tent, tent weights (about 40 pounds or less), folding tables (4ft-6ft long), and other smaller supplies - need to be able to lift these items.

• Able to work in outdoor environments for event's duration.

• Can work in rain or shine, under provision of a tent for outdoor events (events will not be held during extreme weather circumstances).

• Are passionate about sales and customer satisfaction.

• Passionate about jewelry and eager to fully know and understand our products.

• Have excellent communication skills – are confident, smiles, engage in conversations, positive, encouraging, enthusiastic, helpful.

• Are punctual.

• Have an ability to multitask.

• Are organized and tidy.

• Able to wear non-fine fashion jewelry that’s nickel-free, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Own a vehicle (SUV/truck/wagon) that you can load a folded 5 ft by 1 ft commercial tent, along with two 6 ft folding tables and 3-5 medium-to-large storage bins

​

Job Type: Part-time (avg 6 - 20hrs/week)

​​

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday, occasionally some weekdays

​

Work Location: Northern VA (mainly Sterling, Ashburn area) and/or Washington D.C., Maryland

​

Compensation: Range $16-22/hr
